Let’s start with Siorac de Ribérac
This charming village has been awarded the 2-flower label and is situated at the gateway to the Forêt de la Double. The village is a must-see when you visit. Its 12th century domed church dominates the village. It is now illuminated and equipped with a sound system. Along the way, be sure to wander around the wash-house and fountains.
From the village centre, set off on a 3-hour walk through this picturesque village and its paths in the heart of the Double forest.

Between hillsides, viewpoints and dry grasslands, the trail offers a variety of landscapes. The village also boasts a 12th-century domed church.
If you want to go further afield, the village is crossed by the path of the famous English journalist Harrison Barker, which you can follow towards Aubeterre sur Dronne or Brantôme.
