La Roche-Chalais
Coen and Rosemarie, a couple originally from the Netherlands, took over the DES ILES farm at Saint-Michel de Rivière, La Roche Chalais in December 2022. A farm with around 230 cows, calves and Prim Holstein heifers, including 120 dairy cows at the moment. A farm where the welfare of the cows is a priority. They are part of the Echiré PDO butter project, as well as the local ‘Les Éleveurs de Sud Ouest’ semi-skimmed milk brand.
