Through the story of Carol and her business, Le Savon Ivre is above all a sensory and emotional journey. It’s a place where passion and creativity come together to create unique, authentic products. Carol makes her soaps using the cold saponification method, and adds precious oils such as argan oil, jojoba oil, castor oil, sweet almond oil, avocado oil, etc. Carol invites you to travel to the heart of her olfactory universe.

🧼La savonnerie aux granges à Gouts Rossignol

Sonia, a lover of the magic of transformation, has become a seasoned“soapmaker” since setting up her business in 2021 on her small 15-hectare estate, which has been organic since 1979. All the ingredients – vegetable butters and oils, clays, macerates, flower petals, spices and essential oils – are of the highest organic quality. It works in accordance with the “Nature & Progrès” label. Two crops at Les Granges: roses and helichrysum, as well as wild-gathered plants, provide precious skincare ingredients for making elixirs, cream macerates, balms and solid shampoos… and, of course, a colourful palette of 7 soaps, scented or unscented as required.

Katy, a goat farmer from Poitevine, offers goat’s milk soaps made by cold saponification, in an environmentally friendly way and with a natural richness in glycerine. The milk from our organic goats is renowned for its moisturising qualities, as it is rich in vitamins, minerals, fatty acids and antioxidants. What’s more, the oils used are either organic or local, or even home-made.

🌸 Galien’s treasures at Verteillac

Maxime and Lucie, pharmacists, producers and processors of aromatic and medicinal plants, use plants in all their diversity and in all their forms, to treat themselves more responsibly.
