Site Naturel des Tourbières

Situated on the border between the Charente and the Dordogne, this remarkable site is a treasure trove of biodiversity. A fragile natural area managed in partnership with the Conservatoire d’Espaces Naturels and the Syndicat de Rivière du Bassin de la Dronne.

The site is open to the public all year round – come and explore this exceptional environment.

The visitor centre is open from May to September. We offer discovery tours, guided walks with storytelling, activities to help you explore the environment and learn to identify certain species, as well as workshops on fishing, the site’s flagship activity.
