Rosella Novelli – The Art of Wool

My creations begin with the purchase of fleeces directly from the owners of the animals, all located within a maximum radius of 40 km from my workshop.

After carefully washing and carding the fleece, I spin it into yarn, entirely by hand.

In my creations, I also incorporate yarns obtained by carding fibres such as silk, cotton, linen, ramie and bamboo.

All my yarns are unique and cannot be reproduced by anyone else in the same colours and thicknesses, which also makes the garments made with them unique.

You can visit my workshop by appointment only.

I also offer courses to teach this ancient art to anyone who requests them.
