Wool Spinning Course – Rosella Novelli

Rosella’s creations begin with the purchase of fleeces directly from the animals’ owners, all located within a 40km radius of her workshop.

After carefully washing and carding the fleece, she spins it entirely by hand. She also incorporates yarns obtained by carding fibres such as silk, cotton, linen, ramie and bamboo.

All her yarns are unique, and cannot be reproduced by anyone else in the same colours and thicknesses, making the garments she makes unique.

You can visit her workshop all year round, by appointment only.

She offers courses to teach this ancient art to anyone who asks.
