Site Naturel des Tourbières de Vendoire

The Tourbières de Vendoire Natural Site, an original and little-known wetland at the bottom of the Lizonne valley, is a basic peat bog of international interest for its unique and diverse flora and fauna. At the Maison des Tourbières, you can discover both the natural history and the human history of this basic peat bog with its multi-millennial past. The site offers a wide range of activities, including fishing, themed workshops and guided tours by appointment. The rest of the year, follow the interpretation trails to explore the site. Open from May to September, Wednesday to Sunday.
