Village de Chenaud
Chenaud
The village of Chenaud is situated in the north-west of the Dordogne. Its main attraction is the 8km of riverbank along the Dronne. The river is accessible in many places, which delights anglers.
In the centre of the village, the Romanesque church is the town’s finest heritage feature. The Mairie would like to promote its small heritage by restoring the wash-houses in the village and hamlets. There is a circuit around the wash-houses, and a map is available from the Town Hall and the Tourist Office.
The village has an astronomy observatory next to the village hall, where a number of events are organised by the “Milky Way” association throughout the year.
