Château de Montardy

Grand-brassac

The Château de Montardy has belonged to the LAU d’Allemans family since 1427. Its origins date back to the 14th century. A feudal castle, it was transformed over the centuries until the 19th century. Situated in the Périgord Vert region, it overlooks a splendid valley stretching for several kilometres. It borders a park with trees over a hundred years old and is surrounded by a 300-hectare estate. Famous guests have played a part in its history. King Edward VII came here to hunt as a friend. Proust wrote about the family.
