Transhumance

As part of the roll-out of the 2023 “Nature and Transitions” call for projects, a new transhumance in the middle of the Double forest along a 4km route will take place on Sunday 27 April! Come and take part in this sheep-farming event and discuss the issues associated with this activity, including the preservation of the environment and biodiversity! Open to all!

From 3pm onwards, before the start of the transhumance, come and join in a round-table discussion with our partner sheep farmers Didier Pernet and Thérèse Kholer!

The Transhumance departs at 4pm from the centre of Saint-André-de-Double

Please note: you must make your own way back and walking shoes are highly recommended to follow the sheep for around 4 km.
